2025 Fall Tournament
Area Tournament
SAY East hosts an Area Tournament each Fall Season for the Strikers and Kickers age divisions. The top four teams from each Strikers and Kickers Group are eligible for the tournament. This year the Tournament will be held on the weekend of October 25th and 26th with any games that have to be re-scheduled due to inclement weather being played on November 1st and 2nd. Coaches for teams qualifying for the tournament must attend the Coaches Meeting on October 21, 2025, 6:00pm at The New School Montessori, 3 Burton Woods Ln, Cincinnati, OH 45229. Confirmation of rosters and eligible players will be conducted during the meeting. League champions will be celebrated, and tournament rules and schedules will be handed out. Attendance is mandatory!
State Tournament
The top two finishers in each division of the SAY East Tournament will advance to the Ohio SAY State Tournament to be held the weekends of November 8th – 9th and 15th – 16th. You can find out more information about the Ohio SAY State Tournament here.
Standings
The SAY East Regular Season final standings will be determined following completion of the season on October 19th. Standings are determined using the point system – 3 points for a win with a goal differential of 5 or fewer, 2 points for a win with a goal differential of more than 5, 1 point for a tie, and 0 for a loss.
In case of a tie after all regular season games are completed the following criteria will be used to break the tie.
- Head-to-head competition if applicable.
- Fewest goals allowed.
- Coin Toss for first, second or third places. Play in game for fourth place.
